Stonehenge: another wonder of the world that people still don't quite understand. There are so many theories as to how these stones were put here. Whether you believe aliens dropped them in their place or our Neolithic ancestors carried them from Wales, they're truly a sight to see. Each stone roughly weighs 25 tons and are believed to come from 20 miles north. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around them, but I'm glad I visited them despite being in such a desolate area.
I hopped on a weekend trip through my study abroad university. There are countless tour companies that take people here, so even if you're in London, it's worth the trip to Stonehenge for the day.
